A chat thread should do more than talk. When you challenge a rival or a tribe accepts a challenge, the conversation now carries the match itself: the tournament card sits pinned at the top, captains set their pairings blind, and a rivalry can settle itself from your posted scores. These tools are first-class in the SwingTribe app; the web app shows the context and points you to the download.

The tournament comes to the chat
A challenge or tribe-challenge thread pins the real tournament card at the top: date, course, entry fee, player count and status, one tap from the full tournament. No more digging through tabs to find the round you are talking about.
Blind pairings for tribe challenges
Both tribes add their players, then each captain sets their team's playing order and locks it in. Neither captain can see the other's order until both have submitted; the moment they do, the tee sheet is generated and revealed to both sides at once. No peeking, no gamesmanship.
Rivalries that settle themselves
Accept a head-to-head and pick how it plays out: a quick Stableford rivalry that resolves automatically from both players' posted scores on the agreed course and date, or a full tournament created for the two of you with the format, leaderboard and course you choose. The date and course are pre-filled and any change alerts the other player.
Built for the app, with the web in the loop
Pairings, rivalry set-up and results are first-class in the native iOS and Android app. On the web app you still see the conversation and its context, with a clear prompt to download the app to take part.
Good to know
Blind pairing and the rivalry tools are live in the app. On the web app these actions are intentionally gated to a download prompt so the match is run in one place. Threads refresh when opened rather than streaming live; real-time updates are a follow-up.
